It was yet another night of Chinenye waking up with a heavy heart with tears in her eyes. Her skin was decorated with her own sweat as she shot her eyes open after experiencing yet another nightmare, only that it was more of a memory than a nightmare. Which was far scarier than just a simple nightmare.
It turned out the accident had put her in the worst state of mind. She could barely sleep, then when she did her nightmares would wake her up and keep her up till the sun came up.
As she laid in bed just like every other night, she felt alone on the king sized bed. She got tired of putting her hopes up that one day her husband who she had learnt to love would crawl into bed one night and the next morning she would wake up to the feel of his hands around her.
