"Mrs Anozie, it's ok it's fine", Daniel said trying to find the right words to comfort his boss. He never saw this coming.
Chinenye's eyes were wet with tears and her face had so much emotions that it was hard to tell which one she really felt. Though Daniel could guess.
She felt guilty, she felt so guilty for the death of someone as innocent as Gregor. He never did anything to deserve such an end, but there he was in a box, being used as a form of mockery.
He didn't ask for this.
Chinenye swallowed hard trying to down all the emotions she felt.
"Where's Caleb?", She said finally, after finding her voice.
"He's working. I'll call him right away ma'am", he said before standing to his feet and walking out the room with the box in his hand, leaving Chinenye alone with her grief.
