Chapter 3: History of the planet

Leo walks to the back of the library and picks out a book called the " History of the earth". Leo walks to a table and starts to read it. It says in 2090 the world took a huge turn when the animals and plants started to evolve, but no one knows the real cause of when the animals first started to evolve. Humans suffered huge casualties from beast attacks. These beasts are now called magical beasts. When the magical beast started to attack, the human population went down by 1/4 of its population. The world took a great hit. People started fleeing to America, and once they hit the limit, they built a Great Wall for protection. "It looks like the oompah loompah president finally got his wish, a wall that stops people and animals from getting into the country," Leo said to himself.

When they built the wall, 1/2 of the population died trying to fight them. Modern weapons had no effect on these terrifying beasts. After a month or two of the fight, with humans on the losing side, and the magic beasts dominating the world of the living. The monks started to fight them and killed each and every magical beast that came near the sacred grounds in which they were protected. But there were still a lot of casualties. When the people saw how the monks fought the magical beasts, they pleaded for their help. The monks said they cultivated Spiritual Qi, and after explaining the concept of Qi, they started to teach the masses about cultivation. When it got to the point where the strong started to bully the weak people, the monks left the people to their own. The cultivation realm is.

So, after the monk's cultivation, there comes the beast taming, which connects a magical beast to your soul realm, which helps it grow stronger. Those who can fuse with the magical beast to take a form are known as beast tamers. After the magical beast war came to an end, the world became peaceful. But everyone was still stuck in the wall surrounding America, which had been renamed the United Union, where people of all colors, shapes or forms live together, but power is still what makes a difference. The world grew into cultivation and people lived peaceful lives until Aliens known as Raiders appeared. Like their names say, they come and raid and kill off the inhabitants of a planet. People went to war with the Raiders for 3 long, strenuous years. Now the people of the earth possess a military academy that focuses on making children strong so they can fight when they are older. The world was never really peaceful thanks to the Raiders and magical beasts, but humans have made it through hardships. Resilient creatures, aren't we?

The place Leo lives is called Phoenix city. It's the birthplace of fire cultivation, which has a fast cultivation speed. Fire is the main use in this city, but that does not mean there are no other elements. The world has basic elements like fire, water, earth, lightning, wind, light, darkness, and light. Depending on the element you awaken, your cultivation speed increases by leaps and bounds. For example, you can't compare a lighting cultivator to an Earth cultivator in terms of cultivation speed. The academy only takes those who are 16 or older. Leo is 10 years old now, so he has six years to cultivate on his own.

They could not comprehend the cultivation methods until they were 16. This is the reason why they only take people who are 16 and older to the academy. People are ranked for how strong they are, because people in the lower cultivation realm can still beat a cultivator of higher cultivation, so they view strength over everything. The ranks are F being the weakest to S being the strongest". Leo gets up and puts the book back and leaves the library.
