I knew that sleeping on the couch would give me a pain in my neck and back, but it was worth it and I would do it every night for the rest of my life if it meant that Casey would trust me and accept me as her mate. I opened my eyes, a big smile on my face as I looked over to my bed, but it soon vanished when I saw that Casey wasn’t there and I was left feeling disappointed, until I saw that there was a piece of paper left on the pillow. I quickly jumped up off the couch and rushed over to the bed to read it.
