Chapter 8Thea fidgeted as Doreius helped her slip into a leather chest piece. She wore chainmail underneath. Tresses had been braided near her face, while the rest of her hair hung loosely. Despite their impracticality, Thea had insisted on wearing long golden earrings. A few servants, including Iva, had poked their heads into her bedroom worriedly at the sound of the queen’s moans, but quickly disappeared.
