Chapter Fifty – Deserted
The surrounding was eerie. Bethany knew something was definitely up. He had stopped by recently to take his son so there’s no way the place would be deserted within an hour.
“Connor!” he called when he noticed someone staggering towards him. He had a knife stab on his sides but it didn’t seem fatal. Bethany caught him as he fell on him.
“What the hell happened here?” he yelled but the boy passed out after getting to him. Bethany carried him and began running back to the exit.
There were footsteps behind him so he stopped, and turned. “Where you the one who did this?!” he shouted.
He left three of his men here. Connor, his older bother and his older brother’s girlfriend. There were other boys from other mafia gangs that came to discuss some issues.
