A Thing of Love

Ever since Rohan and Aaradhya met, every day began with a new hope and excitement. Their meetings in the college garden had now become a habit. The conversation between the two was gradually deepening. Today too, the two were sitting in a quiet corner of the garden, from where the beautiful view of the trees, plants and green environment of the college was visible.

Aradhya was lost in her book, and Rohan was sitting next to her and watching her. In the last few days, he had realized that Aaradhya's laughter, her words, and her cheerfulness had made her one of the most beautiful things in his life. He wondered many times whether he should speak out his heart, but every time he felt that the time had not come yet.

Aaradhya closed the book and said with a smile, "You know, Rohan, I always used to tell my friends that one day I want to meet my favourite author. But now I feel that every day in college is like a new book for me."

Rohan listened to her and said with a smile, "Your words always touch my heart. You are much sweeter than you think."

Aaradhya had a special sparkle in her eyes. She looked at Rohan and said, "Do you really think so?"

"Yes," Rohan replied. "Every moment spent with you is precious to me."

Aaradhya bowed her head and remained silent for a while. Then she said with a slight smile, "I feel very good talking with you. Sometimes I feel as if I can open myself completely to you."

Rohan's heart filled with joy. He felt that Aaradhya had started sharing her heart with him. It was a feeling she had never experienced before.

Finally, the two decided to open up to each other. At every meeting, they talked about the big and small happenings in their lives. One day, as the two sat in the garden, Aaradhya started talking to Rohan about her family.

"My parents always push me to score good marks," she said. "I know they are working hard for my future, but sometimes I feel I am losing my own identity."

Rohan listened to her and said, "I can understand. My family's expectations are too high sometimes. But we should also fulfill our dreams, and we should also live for ourselves."

Aaradhya paid attention to Rohan's words and said, "Your thinking is very different. I think talking to you has helped me understand myself."

Their friendship was now moving in a new direction. They started spending more time with each other and sharing their joys and troubles. One day, in the college library, Rohan said to Aaradhya, “Would you ever want to meet my family?”

Aaradhya was a little shocked and asked, “Would you really want to?”

Rohan laughed and said, “Yes, I think you deserve to know my family too.”

Aaradhya replied laughingly, “Okay, I am ready.”

The two decided that they would visit Rohan’s house the next weekend. Rohan told his mother about this and she happily said, “I would love it if you bring your friend to our house.”

The next weekend, Rohan and Aaradhya met his family. Rohan’s mother, who was an extremely sweet and kind woman, welcomed Aaradhya with great love. She listened carefully to everything about Aaradhya and chatted with her over tea.

Aaradhya felt great spending time with Rohan's family. Rohan's mother accepted her as a part of their family, and Aaradhya too felt that it felt good to be a part of this family.

After the meeting, Rohan and Aaradhya went to a quiet park. Rohan told Aaradhya, "I am glad that you met my family. I feel like there is a new twist in our relationship."

Aaradhya smiled and said, "I am happy too. I feel like I have become a part of your family."

Both of them felt the new beginning of their friendship and relationship. But as their relationship was getting deeper, some challenges also started to emerge.

Rohan and Aaradhya now had a special understanding and closeness. But many changes were about to come in their lives, and both of them would have to face the challenge of understanding and accepting the truth of their relationship.

The next day, when the two met at college, Rohan said, "Every moment spent with you is special to me. But I think we need to work harder to understand and save our relationship."

Aradhya listened to him and said, "I think so too. We need to work harder to understand each other and make our relationship stronger."

The two looked into each other's eyes, and a new hope and excitement arose in their hearts. They knew that the journey of their relationship had just begun, and they needed to work hard and be smart to save it.
