"All right, Ty, there are several NCAA officials in there. They're going to ask you a few questions, and you need to answer all of them honestly," Coach Lucia told me, pointing at the closed door down the hall.
Lucia and I were currently at NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis. The NCAA had contacted Coach the same day as the championship. He and I were required to fly over to Indy so the NCAA could conduct a full investigation. I was to be interviewed, and once the NCAA heard my answers, they would determine what would become of my college hockey career and me.
"I know, Coach, I was planning on being honest," I sighed.
"Are you all right?" Lucia asked.
"I'm nervous, and I feel really bad about this whole thing. I hope you don't lose your job over this whole ordeal," I said
