TY June 25 This was it. My last chance at having a hockey career. I was seated at a table at the NHL Draft with my family along with Cullen and his family. It was currently 6:53 and the draft started at 7:00. As each minute ticked by, my pulse increased beat by beat. I had never been so nervous in my life. "Are you okay?" Cullen asked me, giving my hand a squeeze. "Your hand is freezing." "My hands are always cold," I replied, "but yeah, I'm nervous. This is pretty much it for me.
