"STEPHHHH!" I yelled, imitating my roommate. I walked over and pulled her into a hug. "I missed you over break!"

"I wish you could've been around here over break instead of in Iowa," I harrumphed. "Easton had a New Year's Eve party. You could've come!"
"Yeah, about that. I actually ended up coming back to Minnesota earlier than I originally thought I would. Okay, before you freak out on me, let me explain. I have some good news."
"Good news?" I asked confusedly. Before I had left, Steph told me that she wouldn't be back at college until a day or two before class started back up.
