THE LEAVING OF LIVERPOOL?
The morning briefing was a chance for Ross and his team to pool whatever intelligence they’d gathered from the previous day’s investigations and interrogations. So far, despite the entire uniform branch being on high alert and armed with the photograph of Angela Ryan, there hadn’t been a single confirmed sighting of the fugitive. Admittedly, there’d been a couple of reported sightings of women supposedly fitting her description, but they’d proved to be nothing but dead ends, false alarms.
DCI Oscar Agostini had decided to sit in on the briefing, to keep himself completely updated with the progress of the investigation. He decided to say a few words before Ross got things going.
