SIBLINGS
Within minutes of Ross and Drake leaving the building, the rest of the team began arriving in the squad room, surprised to find DS Ferris in sole command of the squad. Paul Ferris quickly brought everyone up to speed and dispatched the two pairs to their allotted destinations.
Sam Gable and Ginger Devenish, armed with Ferris’s fact file on Howard Blake’s youngest daughter, Gillian, now married and going under the name of Gillian Spalding, were soon heading south in a pool car. The drive to Great Malvern, nestled in the Malvern Hills of Worcestershire would take them around two and half hours, mostly on the M6 motorway. The journey gave them time to discuss the case and the way they intended to handle the meeting with the daughter of the now dead Howard Blake.
