Chapter 32That night, long after Andy left, Janet stood by the window of her darkened hotel room with arms crossed, looking out over the sleeping city below. As she stared out at the starless night, she contemplated the enormous task of putting her house back together. Again the feeling of her life having been hijacked and her being hurled into a roiling ocean of uncertainty returned. She dipped her head, swallowed and felt her throat tighten as she covered her face with her hand. Stumbling back to her bed, she crumpled down onto it, and as she lay there in the dark of night, asking why, she felt a longing grow in her heart. Suddenly, she NEEDED TO BE on her beach sitting on her rock! She looked up at the digital alarm on her bed stand as the powerful urge to go running out into the night
