Chapter 20Andy kicked his shoes off and plopped on his couch. It had been a long day down at the store and his head was banging. He knocked down a gulp of beer and bit into a burger as Jack sat at his feet hoping for a handout. On the coffee table in front of him was today's paper. He picked it up, stared at the headlines and set it back down.
He took another bite of his burger when his cell phone rang. He picked it up and looked at the screen. Janet! “Hey there, this is a surprise.”
There was a pause on the other end. Finally, she said, “Hi, I hope this isn't a bad time.”
He set his burger down and leaned back. “No, not at all. What's up?”
“I was wondering if you had some time over the weekend. I'd like to get together for a chat.”
