A pair of coats, some cheap jewelry from a who-knows-where shop, and a fancy wristwatch.
These are the things that were left by Lucas in my place. We spent a long time together and this was just the garbage that I had to dispose of. It was like Lucas was just once a transient lessee in my life and that he left almost nothing after not paying his due rent to me. Looking at the brighter side, should I be happy that I don’t have to clean that much?
The new year is just around the corner and I decided to clean all corners of my house. I always hire a cleaning company to do this, but being in charge once in a while is not a bad thing at all. This could also be a good diversion and a great way to start my year.
