“Where are you going?”
It was still early in the morning and the child that I left in bed was now right before me. Looks like I triggered his sensor after I tiptoed out of the room.
If possible, then I want to spend the whole twenty-seven days with him, but my responsibility is knocking at my doorstep. Turning my back on either hurts a lot. If only society would open a day for this kind of circumstance.
“I need to go to work. I’m sorry, Julian, but you have to stay with your grandma Agnes. She will take you to her coffee shop. I’ll see you this evening, so be a good boy.”
