Chapter 13 - Who else but you
“I’ll see you at Via Carota. The reservation is under my name so just say the magic word. Okay?”
“Is it abracadabra?”
“So funny, Sean. Forget that we are buddies if you say even a word of that phrase.”
It was Friday now and we are on our way to the dinner that I promised Sean. We are driving our own cars since it will be a headache to pick up the vehicle in the company parking lot the next day.
I don’t want to see even the shadow of the company building during my precious weekend and the same goes for Sean as well. I’m already at the point of my life where nothing beats rest to enjoy the hard work on weekdays that I dedicated my energy to.
