Chapter 34 - A Silent Life
My eyes are roaming around the room that I’ve stayed in for the whole month. I can’t say that I’ll miss this place, but a lot of stressful and unforgettable things happened here that I will surely remember for the rest of my life.
Just a month and it changed my life like a storm full of sharp shards and wasted opportunity. Though, I should be thankful that it only lasted for a month, since any more than that and I might have lost my sanity. I was too weak and naive to handle life like a piece of bread.
I still can't walk and my wounds are not yet full-healed, but recuperating in my parent's home would be possible now. It will also be much more comfortable for them and I no longer have to bother myself with entertaining unwanted guests.
