“Dear God! Oh my! I’m so happy for the two of you. Vic, you silly thing. Sharing such good news should be your priority. How could you do this to your future mother-in-law? Come here and give me a hug.”
I was out of my mind when I stood up and hugged Agnes with all my might. It was as if my soul was floating somewhere, leaving my body to handle things while it was gone.
Should I be happy or what?
Thousands of incomprehensible words were running through my brain and I was unable to grasp the perfect word to use. Me and Nil being together is not the ending that I was expecting. If things go according to my daydream, then I should be running back to my little abode.
