Thankfully, Sean’s car isn’t back yet when I made it to the roadside. Even Nil is already out of sight when I manage to calm myself and dry all the tears on my face. Only a sign of relief could be seen on me after I confirmed that we won’t see each other in a very awkward situation.
I don’t know why but I have a strange feeling that I should hide Nil from Sean’s eyes. What do people call this thing, I wonder? Is it a woman's intuition? Perhaps my perception developed after I involved myself with Sean. Whatever it is, the foreboding feeling that I have made me believe that nothing good will come out if they were to meet at this moment.
