Chapter 16 - The first taste of jealousy
Nil’s POV
Only the sound of fast light footsteps could be heard in the hallway.
My feet stepped out of the elevator and did not move even a little after that. Only my eyes were being actively used as I looked straight at the hallway leading to the woman running away from me.
I wanted to move my body and catch her as if hunting my prey, but I held myself to the ground. It is not the time to do this. Her pride wouldn't be able to bear the thought that a man younger than him would be able to embrace her like a dominated lamb. I'm sure that I won't be able to handle the repercussions of that foolish thought.
The beautiful back of hers that I once held is now fading away little by little. Her long hair moving in unison with her body made me remember
