Victoria’s POV
“Wait. Wait. Wait. What are you doing? What my son did was just for my defense! How could you do this? I’m asking where is the f*****g warrant of arrest?”
The supposed silent night that we should have was replaced with the unsolicited presence of police officers. Those familiar faces struck me well since they are the same bunch who picked up the bloody r****t from Agnes’ house.
But now, the same group of officers is escorting Nil to their station due to assault charges. That man’s audacity to sue irked the hell out of me.
Agnes and I were still discussing the charges that she was about to file and yet that almost-dying man managed to turn the situation in his favor.
