Victoria’s POV

“Are you going to leave me after this? Don't you dare, Vic. I might die for real.”
Nil’s warm body, as I lie in his arms after our bodies reunited, makes me feel so comfortable. This feeling made me realize how much I missed his warmth. Four years had passed, yet Nil remained the only man who could make me feel this much love.
His question made me giggle. Why would I sleep with him if running away is my final goal? Since when did I practice dine and dash?
“No. That is silly. Why would I do that? Are you asking if you will do it? You know what, I will never get mad at you, even if you were to say that you don’t want me anymore. I love you and you don’t have to reciprocate.”
My face is smiling and yet my voice is shaking as I say
