Four weeks had passed since the Black wedding, and Brian was loving his new wife. He knew she wasn’t perfect, and he didn’t expect her to be. When Damien had told him he had delved into her past, he was enraged. He didn’t believe in judging a book by its cover; instead, he was more interested in letting the past go and having a loving and good future.
He also admired his daughter, Ariana. She was a strong and good woman, and he knew she carved his son, Damien. He had caught her sneaking looks at him on several occasions, and, not to mention, at the wedding, they seemed to have known each other. When he asked Brian, he dismissed him and denied ever meeting her.
