I feel like I"ve spent my whole life with Gaia. Yet I can"t picture her – or me – in any place other than Positano. This has been remarkable, and it seems to become more remarkable with each passing hour. Three days ago we hadn"t met. Then, as if a comet had streaked across my horizon, I discovered her on the edge of my world. A light conversation (admittedly filled with great trepidation on my part) led to laughter and love, and a growing attachment I now realize that I cannot afford to lose. And I will do anything in my power to make sure I don"t. I have come to the conclusion that Gaia feels the same way. No proof yet – she might just be enjoying a little Roman holiday with me playing Gregory Peck (okay, Gaia as Audrey Hepburn – I can handle that!). But our time together is too hot,
