Axel's POV
I looked at her as she sat on the bed and she was surprised to see me. Raymond had acted on my instruction and did not tell her that I was coming over to pick her up. I wanted my presence to be a surprise, but I see that I wasn't giving her a surprise at all but I almost gave her a heart attack. However, a smile formed on my face as I still sat alone in the room. I walked inside, my eyes not parting from her, she glanced around for a moment and smiled as well. She must be confused as to why I was smiling. I have not smiled at all like this in the past, the other time I was here I was conflicted if I should reject her or accept her, but now, it seems as though my mind had been made up.
“Alpha Axel, what are you doing here?”.
