“Hello Handsome,” I shot a smile at Jason as he opened the door staring at me with his mouth agape. I know what he was thinking. Everyone had that same look on their face when they saw me walking into the house. They thought that I had run away and had come back home without my brother's consent. They had no idea that I was not the kind of woman who was going to do that.
If I ran my brother had a lot of power in the pack, and he was going to use his connection and even if he didn't use it, he was a friend of the Queen, and she would extend help. She was well-connected as well. He is going to find me and he is going to take me far away. The only place that he wouldn't dare send me was the north.
