The Meeting

The next day I walked down stairs with my bag, my dress was already in the car “why do I even have to wear a dress, I haven’t worn one in years” I said as Chris tried to take my bag from me, “because all the other Luna’s will be, and I think you’ll look hot” Chris said opening the door for me. I took 4 hours to drive to the hotel where the meeting was being held. A man took are bags for us, “wow this place is fancy” I said looking around me “the meeting is held here every year, it’s not the most fancy place, but it will do” Chris said walking up to the reception desk “Alpha Lee, here is your key am I able to see you tonight” she said chewing gum, puffing out her chest and speaking in a high pitched girly voice her hand stroking his arm lightly “Lil babe, you coming” he said turning and calling to me, the girl looked defeated “yep coming” I said walking over to him, he put an arm around me as we walked up the stairs, as soon as we got to our room I gasped, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, something that was meant for dreams “come on we have to get ready, we can see the rest of hotel tomorrow” Chris said passing me a garment bag, I got changed in the bathroom while Chris changed in the bedroom, my dress came to about mid-thigh length, was black and silky with ruffles going down the side, I walked out of the room and Chris stood stock still in awe “how do I look” I said twirling on the spot “you look amazing” he said putting his arms around me, “let me put on my shoes and we can go down” I said slipping on my heels “I always wondered how girls can walk in heels and still look graceful, there like a foot of the ground” Chis said looking down at my feet “their only six inches and when we walk it makes us look better” I said demonstrating, my hips naturally swaying back and forth, Chris was standing right behind me in an instant his arms wrapped around me from behind, he kissed my neck, making me moan “Chris come on were going to be late, we can’t keep them waiting now can we” I said unwrapping his arms, when we arrived in the meeting room, all the Alphas and Luna’s were seated around a round table, we sat down in the two available spots unfortunately it was next to Nickolas who didn’t have a Luna beside him, “s**t” I mind linked to Chris “what’s wrong” he said back giving me a worried look “nothing” I said giving him a smile “Alright first things first” said a tall dark man who seemed to be the one hosting this meeting “I would like to announce that Alpha Lee has found his Luna” he said everybody started clapping, he gestured for me to stand up, so I stood up and Gave a smile before sitting down “now let’s get to business” the man said sitting down, the next three hours went by quickly and soon dinner was being served, a large stake and salad was placed in front of me as well as a glass of wine, I slowly cut off a piece of stake and slowly chewed it “come on lil babe, you have to eat” Chris said almost finished his plate, I looked around the table and nearly everybody had finished, mine looked hardly touched “I can’t eat any more” I said setting down my knife and fork. “Is the stake on to your liking said the man how started of the meeting, I found out his name was Alpha Jordan “no it’s perfect I’m just not a big eater” I said giving him a reassuring smile. After dinner the men were drinking and talking about news in the different packs while I was dragged over into a separate room by Alpha Jordan’s Luna and the other women to have coffee and talk “Elisha” said Jordan’s Luna “Lily” I said shaking her hand “we never thought that Alpha Lee’s mate would be so pretty, we thought he would just keep doing the skanks around here” she said passing me a cup, I sipped at it “thanks a lot” I said giving a small smile, we heard muffled shouts then furniture being broken from the other room, I had a funny feeling in my stomach, Chris was in trouble and I needed to help him out fast. I walked over and open the door, as soon as I stepped into the meeting room, a chair shattered next to me, missing me by an inch, Elisha was right behind me, Chris had Nickolas pinned down on the table and he was bashing the c**p out of him “Chris get off him right now” I said trying to pull Chris off Nickolas “what the hell do you think you’re doing” I said in a low voice “krasivyy angel, I see you have found your супруг, too bad you didn’t stay in your own pack with me, how is that little brat of yours and of course your older brother still a worthless piece of govno, taking after your parents I see” Nickolas’ thick Russian accent sounded meaner than ever, I lunged at him, but Elisha was holding me back “you don’t talk about my family, you ublyudok, ya ub'yu tebya” I yelled at him half in Russian “your still a feisty one” Nickolas replied with a smile “everyone settle down now” Alpha Jordan bellowed, I relaxed a little but Chris was tense, I started to sway a little, Elisha was at my side instantly “I’m fine” I said before she could ask me. After drinks Chris marched up to our room, “pack your bag we’re leaving” he said throwing stuff into his bag “it’s fine, forget about what Nickolas says, let’s just enjoy ourselves” I said pulling Chris into a hug “it’s not that, I am so, so, so sorry Lily there was a fire at the pack house, a fire started and, and your brother Jay, he’s dead, I so sorry” Chris said holding me closer
