Chris POV

About a week later I was sitting in my office “Jackson, get in here now” I bellowed, soon he was sitting in my office. “It didn’t work, she ran without her brother and now these two are here and their f**king everything up” I said punching the wall, plaster coated my fist like flour, “flowers, I’ll get here flowers” I said walking over to my desk, there was a small knock on the door, Jackson opened it, Luka and Lily walked in, she sat down on the chair in front of the desk “I have an answer for you” she said looking down at her feet “well what is it” I said shakily, she could either choose to stay here or reject me “I’m staying but when I’m strong enough my brother and I are challenging Nickolas for Alpha” she said looking terrified “what’s the deal with this Nickolas guy, why does he want you so much” I blurted out “he sent wolves with kill my father and mother, Jay and I watched them s*******r them in front of us, he said that I would be his Luna whether I wanted to or not, he also imprisoned Jay and Max in the cell, for three days with no food, Max would have died from starvation if I didn’t run, it was a month after my fiftieth birthday, we have been running all over America, posing as a family trying to find work where we can, but two weeks ago, Max got sick and we’ve were trying to head down to South America to a tribe to try and get help, but that’s when we were found” she said Luka put his arm around her “mark me if you want, but it won’t be because I love you it’s because I’m doing it to save my brothers and my pack” she said looking down at the floor, “everybody get out” I yelled

Lily’s POV

“Everybody get out” Chris yelled, I went to stand up “why don’t you love me” he said stopping me in my tracks “what” I said turning around “what do I need to do to get you to love me, to accept me as your mate” he said standing up and walking up behind me, “I’m scared, Chris” I said sitting on the edge of his desk, him facing me “you don’t have to be scared any more you have me” he said standing in front of me now “no, what I mean is I’m scared because I love you, I really love you, and that scares me” I said giving him a weak smile, he gently lifted my chin and kissed he hard. “I’ve changed my mind mark me now” I said as he kissed my neck, I could feel his canines sinking into the spot in my neck, making me moan again, “lets finish this in the bedroom” Chris said licking off the blood.

The next morning, I was being shaken gently “lil” Max said snuggling into the bed, I covered myself up with the sheet, our clothes strew around the room, and I pulled the blanket up to cover Chris, “Max get out now” I said growling, I wrapped the sheet around me like a dress as I went to the bathroom, I quickly showered and changed. I walked down stairs and into the lounge, the chairs were all taken so was most of the floor to, all the eyes in the room focused on me “I didn’t think anybody would be up yet” I said standing gingerly on the edge of the room “no we were up all night, geez girl you have stamina” said one of the boys before receiving high fives “let’s just say apart from the noise, Alpha had lots of thoughts about you, especially the tattoo on your upper thighs” said Jackson receiving high fives as well, I started to go crimson, how embarrassing, everyone in the F**king pack knows what we did “well at least you guys didn’t have to listen to your own sister and her mate going at it, it was nasty” Jay said speaking up, he was standing at the other side of the room “Lily” Chris bellowed from the top of the stairs “keep for bloody brother out of my F**king bed” he continued to yell, he was carrying a squirming Max in his arms, “here lets go and get you some breakfast” I said taking Max in my arms and walking into the kitchen, as soon as I left I could hear one of the boys making fake high pitched s*x noises, followed by a whimper, I guessed Chris had hit him. After I fixed Max his breakfast and cleaned up I went back into the lounge room and squeezed in between two of the guys, but I got up a few minutes later, I went down to the laundry room and opened a cupboard, I grabbed a pair of sneakers, before I ran upstairs and changed into a pair of shorts, I walked to the front door and laced up my shoes, it would be good to go for a run even if it was just in my human form, I ran about a half mile before I reached the river on the edge of the border when somebody was coming closer. “You know you should be out here alone” Robinson said walking out from behind a tree “and why is that” I said standing stock still “there are some shady character out here, wouldn’t want to cross them” he said stalking forward “piss off and leave me alone” I said turning around and walking along the river “what if I was to say no” he said grabbing my wrist “I command you to let go of me” I said tensing, he gripped my head and kissed me roughly, as soon as we came apart, I brought my fist back and slammed into his face, he started to violently shake, I knew he was about to shift and so was I, in an instant we were both in wolf form, he lunged at me and I turned and ran, I was about twenty metres from the pack house when Robinson caught up to me, he jumped on top of me, flipping me onto my back, he had me pinned, I may be able to flip someone like jay but this guy was a lot stronger and heavier, every time I tried to move he dug his claws into my shoulder, the door of the house burst open, Robinson eased up a little and that’s when I took my chance, I lunged upwards, sinking my teeth into his neck ripping out his throat, he body slumped onto mine as few shifted back to human, Robinsons body was covering mine so I couldn’t see anything, but I could feel Chris kneeling down beside me, he rolled Robinson off me and he took off his shirt and handed it to me, I put it on quickly and stood up, blood and dirt caked my skin. A few hours later, Luka and Gabe were going to leave, “here I’ll come with you” I said following them out the door, Max and Jay were also coming to, we ran to the border and watched as Luka and Gabe crossed, “I’m gonna miss you guys” I called out after them before walking back to the house.
