“Luka, Gabe what are you guys doing here” I said as soon as I saw them, I walked up to them giving them a massive hug “what are you doing on my lands” Chris spoke up, more anger in his voice “jealous are we” I said to Chris before turning back to them “what’s your message” I said sounding concerned “Nickolas wants you back to make you Luna, if you don’t come back with us he’ll come looking for you, he has gotten stronger while you were away and our pack has tripled in number. He killed Abby” Luka said stuttering on her name and Gabe started to whimper “I can’t go back, not after what he tried to do to me, us, I’m Luna of this pack now, my mate’s here” I said memories flashed through my mind, I could sense that Chris was absolutely ecstatic “I have to discuss it with Jay first before I make my decision, come inside you look half-starved we’ll get you something to eat” I said walking him into the house, sitting him down at the kitchen bench top “eyes up” Chris barked at Luka and Gabe, who was staring at my chest “I thought I smelled something funny” Jay said walking in with Max stumbling behind him “Alpha Jayson” Luka said getting up and bowing low, I served up a two plates of bacon and eggs from this morning “I’m not an Alpha any more Luka, but at least somebody knows respect around here” Jay said, the comment directed at Chris, I reach into the cupboard and grabbed out a chocolate bar, taking a bite of it before I put it down “Nickolas” I said to Jay, who immediately started to growl “if we had just stayed south of the river we wouldn't have this problem, we could be half way across the state tomorrow” Jay said stealing a piece of bacon from Luka’s plate “watch it Omega, your sister is the only thing saving you and your brother” Chris said scowling “we can all sense that you are unmarked, he would leave you alone if you were marked” Luka said “no, there has to be another way” I said, Luka Gave me a questioning look “Max why don’t you take Gabe and show him around” I said giving Max a reassuring smile “it’s okay Gabe” I said as he Gave me a scared look, he soon was smiling again as he trotted off with Max “Gabe, has been shunned the most, Nickolas was going to kill him, but he looks up to you know, at least he stopped thinking you were his mate, that was embarrassing” Luka said laughing “what do you mean” Chris said growling “ever since we were five he thought we were mates, he brought me flowers every day” I said remembering us from when we were kids, Chris came up from behind me, wrapped his arms around me and buried his head in my neck, “Mine” he growled, he kissed me, he found the spot he was going to mark me, don’t moan, not here, not now I thought to myself, I let it out, I blushed heavily “get off her now” both Luka and Jay bellowed “everybody cool it” I yelled back, “Omega I may not be able to kill you but you Rouge I can kill you” Chris yelled “you will not harm either of them, come on Luka, Jay lets go fine Max and Gabe” I said walking out of the kitchen, I could feel everybody’s eyes on me as I walked “mama” Gabe yelled as he saw me come into the room “we made a fort” he said dragging me into the lounge room, Jackson was sitting on the only chair that hadn't been moved “Mama” he questioned me as I Gave he a look that said don’t even go there, Gabe was around a year older than me but looked around five, because of a mental condition he thought he was 4 years old “and what have we got here” I said kneeling down in front of the front entrance, I crawled in Max was sitting in the middle, Jay and Luka crawled in next and then Gabe, it was a tight squeeze but we all managed to fit, Gabe let out a yawn, “Mama I’m tired” he said “alright let’s get you to bed for a little nap” I said as we crawled out of the fort, I lead him out of the lounge room and into a spare bedroom, I sat down on the bed next to him “alright now go to sleep” I said ruffling his hair “I can’t go to sleep without my song, the one you used to sing to me” he said giving me a pleading look “alright” I said and I began to sing.
