CHAPTER SIX: THE AWAKENING

755 Words
The sun rose blood-red over the Damien estate, its light crawling across the glass walls like warning flares. Aurora woke with a groan—naked, tangled between the two alphas who had both claimed her. Alexander on her left, arm draped over her waist, possessive even in sleep. Jaxon on her right, hand between her thighs, fingers unconsciously brushing against her heat. Her body ached in the best way. Every inch of her felt used, adored, worshipped. But something was wrong. Her stomach twisted with unfamiliar tension. Not pain. Not illness. Life. She sat up slowly. The world around her had changed. The wind sounded like whispers. Her skin buzzed with energy. She could feel the heartbeat of the earth beneath her palms. And deep inside her belly—something pulsed. She blinked hard. No. It couldn’t be. Not already. But her instincts screamed louder than logic. She was pregnant. And she didn’t know whose it was. Inside the Mansion – Hours Later Aurora stood in front of the bathroom mirror, her body wrapped in a sheer white robe that clung to her like a second skin. The lace stopped just below her thighs. Her n*****s peaked through the fabric. She should’ve felt shame. Or fear. Instead, she felt power. She traced her fingers along her belly. It wasn’t visibly different. But her magic knew. Her womb had been claimed. And it had begun to change everything. The Attack She barely had time to react. Glass shattered downstairs. Screams. Roars. She ran barefoot through the marble halls, the robe flowing behind her like smoke. Alexander was already in wolf form—massive, silver-white, eyes burning gold. Blood soaked his fur. Jaxon shifted mid-leap, tackling two black-clad intruders with silver blades. "Stay back!" he shouted, voice ragged. "They’re after you!" Aurora didn’t listen. She raised her hand—and the ground cracked beneath the assassins’ feet. With one scream, she unleashed pure magic. Lightning struck the marble. The intruders burned alive. The rest fled. She stood, panting, body glowing faintly. Alexander shifted back, nude, covered in blood. Jaxon followed. “What the f**k was that?” Jaxon whispered. Alexander stared at her, jaw clenched. “She’s evolving. Faster than expected.” Aurora didn’t hear them. Her eyes were locked on the blood pooling at her feet. And her hand was on her belly. Later That Night – Her Room They didn’t ask questions when she demanded them both. Not this time. No guilt. No fight. Only need. She wore nothing but a black choker and thigh-high silk stockings. Jaxon sat in the chair, shirtless, watching her with hooded eyes. Alexander stood behind her, shirt undone, breathing hard. “I need both of you,” she said. “Now.” And they obeyed. Alexander pulled her to the bed and laid her flat, kissing down her body with slow, reverent hunger. Jaxon took her mouth with a growl, his hand gripping her throat lightly as his tongue invaded her. “Take her mouth,” Alexander said to Jaxon. “I’ll take the rest.” Jaxon kissed her deeply. Then Alexander entered her in one slow, claiming thrust. She moaned into Jaxon’s mouth, hips arching. They worked in sync—Jaxon kissing, teasing, biting her breasts while Alexander thrust deeper, harder, hands gripping her hips like she was his anchor in a storm. She came. Once. Then twice. They didn’t stop. Jaxon turned her onto her knees, mouth trailing down her spine, whispering how perfect she was. Then he slid inside her—slow at first, then punishingly deep. Alexander held her from the front, kissing her, whispering in Russian, one hand on her stomach. “She’s carrying one of us,” he murmured against her lips. Aurora sobbed as her third orgasm exploded through her. Then Alexander positioned himself behind Jaxon—teasing her from both ends. Two c***s. One mate. One queen. They claimed her like a ritual—until she screamed, body shattered, mind blank with ecstasy. She felt fire. Magic. Life. And then—the twist. The Plot Twist As her body went limp, something ancient cracked open inside her mind. A voice. Not hers. Not theirs. “You were never meant to choose between them, child.” “You were meant to consume them.” “One carries your power. The other, your rage. But you? You carry the end of the bloodline.” She gasped. Eyes flying open. And for the first time— Her pupils were slit like a dragon’s.
