“How are you feeling?”
I looked at Sev, rolling my eyes. “I’m fine. It’s just against the Falcons. They’re nothing to worry about.”
“You’ve had a lot going on lately. Are you sure you’re focused enough to be playing?”
I situated my pads on my shoulder. “I’m fine. I can’t let the team down.”
“And you’re positive Aurora is safe in public right now?” Sev said softly, making sure no one around us heard.
I paused what I was doing. “I’m sure she’s fine. As far as we know, we and Dad know what’s going on and who she is.”
“As she comes into her own, her aura will start strengthening. I could feel it even briefly when I saw her before coming back here.”
