AURORA’S POV When I woke up, I was warm—hot. Opening my eyes slowly, I saw why. I was encased in Silas’s arms, and the look on his face was the most peaceful I’ve ever seen. I smiled. Looking around the room, I saw it was still dark. Inching slowly from underneath his arm, I reached for the side table where I knew I had left my phone. Snatching it up, I looked at the time—3:03 a.m. I wasn’t the type to wake up throughout the night. I usually slept through it with no issues. I went to bed immediately after I had laid down. But a stomachache had woken me this time. And as I remembered it, another cramp ripped through me. I groaned slightly, looking back to see if Silas woke up.
