“Hey there, princess.”
I felt my blood pressure rise without looking up, knowing it was Silas standing before me now. Since he’d made his last comment about me being the princess, I’d stopped texting him, not leaving my dorm room, ordering food, and just staying in. But my first class of the week was with him so I couldn’t avoid him any longer.

He slid into his seat next to me, keeping his eyes on me. “You okay? I haven’t heard from you.”
I shook my head. “I’m fine. Just wrapping my head around everything is all.”
“So you didn’t leave your room?”
I stared at him suspiciously. “Were you watching me?”
