SILAS’S POV “Why did you want to meet, Maya?” I said, trying to look bored in response to the sour look on her face. “You know why I wanted to meet, Silas,” she replied. She sat across from me at Lou’s, her coffee sitting there, while she leaned back, her arms crossed. I had an idea why she was mad and if Aurora had told her anything. But I wasn’t going to admit anything unless verified. I took my coffee and took a sip. “I’m not sure.
