SILAS’S POV
Aurora was annoyed at me. I had just saved her life, and she was annoyed by me. She sat beside me in the car, her arms crossed, looking out the window.
“Listen…”
“Don’t even.”
“If I hadn’t shared your location, I would never have found you.”
She sighed. “That’s not the point. You snuck on my phone and did it. Not telling me anything.”
“And I said I’m sorry about that.”
“You were being sneaky.”
I scoffed. “I wasn’t being sneaky. I was being proactive about your safety.”
“And you couldn’t tell me?”
“Maybe one day you’d walk off in a fight and turn off your location.”
She laughed. “You mean walk off like you did?”
I cringed. “I’m sorry about that. I never should have acted like that. I realized while I was walking how stupid and immature it was.”
