Thomas couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Here he was, in the middle of a dangerous rescue mission in the open ocean, surrounded by fishing boats, when suddenly he found himself surrounded by something else, too.
Dolphins.
Under any other circumstances he’d be relieved to see them. First Taffy and Cleo, then Chico and Finn. And what was even more amazing was that Chico had a passenger. Jose.
It was obvious what had happened. The little stowaway had somehow escaped from the Bougainville and brought the dolphins with him. After all Thomas’s and Eva’s attempts to get them back, it was Jose who had ultimately managed it.
But what were they doing here?
And more importantly, what was Thomas to do with them now?
He had a choice to mak
