Chapter 16The phone in the principal’s office rang. Spenser picked it up. “Yes, Martha?” “Mr. Hudson, there’s a Mr. Daniels here to see you. He wants to talk about the possibility of enrolling his children here. Do you have the time to see him now? If not, I’ll give him our brochure and have him set up an appointment.” “Thanks, Martha. It’s fine. I’ll be right out. Just have him take a seat.” Spenser took a minute to make some final notes on the month’s budget report to the school board.
