Hi, my name's Katherine Leon, only child of Mr and Mrs King Leon, that's pretty lame especially since they didn't have shit...... so I know you're not here to listen to this s**t, what you want is a love story, well who ever told you that this is a love story lied and you fell for it. But if you're still interested in reading my life as it unfolds to me then read on with an open mind because weird is the norm in my life.

now moving on both my parents are dead, and according to the orphanage, it happened when I was barely four but that was a long time ago and I don't have any relatives, three years ago when I was sixteen I was adopted by my three childhood friends that I grew up with because they were old enough to leave the place but couldn't leave without me.

I just turned 19 few days ago, I was in the kitchen when they walked in looking like greek gods and amazonians , Chris has a brown looking short hair, 6ft, broad shoulders, you know the typical hearthrob, while Nate looked like the responsible one, which he is by the way, he has black sleek hair, stood 6ft something cause he's slightly taller than the rest of us, then there's charlie, she's definitely not your typical Queen bee, no she's much better than that, standing a good 6ft, dark skinned, thick shape and waist length black hair and then there's me plain Jane and baby of the gang, standing 5ft8 brown eyes just like charlie, not so thick shape, brown hair with little curls here and there and my hair stops at my waist too, so back to the present

'hey guys, am in the kitchen' I said dishing my food before heading for the living room, Charlie tried to grab it but I was fast enough to escape her clutches

'serve yourself' I said rolling my eyes before sitting with Nate, he put his hand over my me and kissed my hair, then Charlie came back with two plates, one for Nate and sat with us

'where's Chris?' i asked noticing his absence.

'He went upstairs, he's mad cause I told him it's again the rules to hack into people's stuff for fun' Nate told me, we ate in silence, finishing my food I stood up to keep my plate but I suddenly felt dizzy and weak

'hey, are you okay' I heard Nate while Charlie stopped eating

'yea. I just need to lie down for a while'

'katie you better not throw up here' Charlie said before facing her food

'Do you want to see a doctor' Nate asked

' No, I just have to lie down for a while' I answered while heading upstairs.

In my room, I placed my phone on my bed side table and fell asleep. I woke up 3hours later feeling better so I decided to take an evening stroll, I got out of bed, wore a hoodie and went downstairs to meet Nate asleep on the sofa covered with a blanket and Charlie no where to be found so I switched off the TV and went out heading to nowhere in particular, I just kept walking and thinking about how life has been for me.

Nate always got huge payment for doing tech jobs, so he saved up to meet the requirements of adopting me and with Charlie pretending to be his girlfriend the orphanage handed me over, after that we moved out bought a house and moved in. We had promised to stand together as a family and so we did, according to the law am the youngest of the Leon family with two elder brothers and one older sister, but no body really knew that, at home we made rules so we could show the world that a bunch of kids can be responsible and take care of ourselves.

Rule 1- No f*****g strangers in the house. Charlie made sure of that.

Rule 2- No drugs. I made sure of that

Rule 3- We handle everything TOGETHER

I know nothing could break us up, not even distance, Chris leaves the state everytime, Nate travels when necessary and Charlie does the same too, sometimes they're out for a week straight but that's the height and they never left me by myself, I was always with one of them when the other travelled, I kicked a small stone just when I noticed it was about to rain, s**t I had wondered too far from home.

'just great! the forest of all places you could wander into Katherine you chose the forest.' I asked and palmed my face, turned around, how could i end up here, this place gave me the creeps, I thought of calling the guys but then I had left my phone at home, I didn't even know where I was, I kept walking but I felt like I was being watched, my eyes scanned the area, nothing, but i heard twigs snap and leaves crunched, I started running as fast as possible, I had to get out of here, I turned my head to see what was actually chasing me

'WOLF!!' I screamed just before i hit my leg on something, fell down hitting my head on the log in front of me

's**t' It hurt like a b***h, I felt blood tickle down my head, mixing with the rain on me and clouded my vision, I tried to get back on my feet but a sharp stab of pain on my ankle told me not to bother, so I dragged myself closer to the log and rest my back on it, the wolf just kept on staring at me with eyes that reflects nothing but satisfaction, so after everything this is how I was going to die at the hands of a wolf not even by gunshot or by accident, I can't die like this in the forest, nobody will discover my body till it's dried and decayed and that might be years later, I thought about the guys, Chris will never stop partying or breaking hearts just for fun will continue racing like a mad man all over the country and in two years he will be the world's best racer and heart breaker, Nate should end up with special forces in two years as a computer geek but will break heart without meaning to, he'll probably be the only responsible one who might end up well without me, Charlie will be the country's drug lord in two years without me and that's all spread fear faster than the wolf did, I tried to look for something to defend myself but the wolf was looking at me like it was mocking me I kept searching as it approached me I felt dizzy I could barely see I had another growling very close to me I looked up to see another big wolf on the log, i think the first one got mad and tried to come at me but the big wolf jumps out and stood right in front of me before I passed out.
