The only injury that had occurred to Sanjana before she got stabbed by the knife was a head injury which was likely due to the glass dining table; as forensics had reported traces of blood at the edge of the table.
There were no signs of struggle. In Sanjana"s left-hand palm were traces of pepper powder… The inspector trying to visualise what must have happened that night? Was she cooking when this happened? Why would someone hold pepper powder on their palm instead of fingers while cooking? Or was this a self defence act? Did she try to throw at the killer’s eyes..
