It couldn't be what I was thinking, could it? Tim, in love with Ella? It had been ages since Tim showed any genuine interest in another person, not since the tragic event that had left him cold and distant. Now, he was protecting Ella, and I couldn't help but wonder if she was the key to bringing back the old Tim.
"Who's there?" I called out, and one of the maids rushed in.
"Get me Ella," I instructed, and she bowed before hurrying off.
A few minutes later, Ella arrived with the same maid, who then left us alone.
"Sit," I told Ella, and she obeyed, though her expression was puzzled.
"Ella, I know things have been happening quickly since your arrival, but trust me, every legend has faced similar challenges. It's their wise decisions that made them legends," I explained.
