I closed my eyes, focusing on the power building inside me. My mind was calm, serene. But as soon as I opened my eyes, my world was shattered.
Tim and Ella were walking down the stairs, dressed in wedding attire, with huge smiles on their faces. The seer's voice echoed in my mind, "I hereby pronounce you both husband and wife, Luna and alpha."
The room erupted in cheers and applause, and I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think. All I could do was stare at the scene unfolding before me.
