"What?!" I exclaimed, making Dad look at me. "You mean there's no other way? Why must it be Ella's blood?" I asked.
"Get prepared, we're going to the Crimson Colony Pack," he said, standing up before exiting the room. "The Alpha of Alphas has sent for a meeting among the pack leaders and elders. We should be there on time."
I was left standing alone, my mind reeling with the thought: "Ella has to die." No, this can't happen. I rushed out of the room to get prepared, hoping there would be a solution.
