PROJECT HARD DRIVE, as Joshua christens it, is coming along quite nicely. In a week, he has transferred nearly twenty percent of the existing files on VHS to the supercomputer’s hard drive. By his reckoning, every file should be transferred and converted by the time he is back in cool uniform; especially since he has managed to secure Keith’s teenaged sons’ services for free.
But even with the extra help, the project is taking a lot of Joshua’s time and attention, which is both a blessing and a curse for Pippa. She loves his company yet is threatened by her feelings for him. She hates his absence, yet it makes her heart grow fonder. What should I do?
