A FEW WEEKS LATER, Josh’s cast was removed, but he still needs a sling to stop him aggravating his injury. His doctor restricted him to minimal duties. Ten days on and the whole Rescue and Bomb Disposal contingent is starting to suffer right along with Joshua.
When he is happy, everyone’s happy; but when he is miserable everyone just wants to tear his hair out. Keith makes a comment to the team that Joshua ‘makes for an ideal shooting target. He’s an absolute pain in the ass, constantly moaning about being bored.’
‘Look who’s talking? Let’s face it ... we’re all like that when we’re bored,’ says Susan, the Office Manager, in Josh’s defence.
‘Speak for yourself,’ said Sam, who promptly earns a gentle kick in the shin.
