The Return of MironQuilla had not been at the Field of Challenge that afternoon, nor witnessed the strange and violent events that had taken place there.
Since dawn she had felt great unease and in the afternoon had gone to her maze in the sacred grove to calm herself. It was while in the centre of the maze holding the seven white crystals that she had had an overwhelming conviction that Ierii would bring Thyloss to her before nightfall on that very day. Her heart being troubled with a heavy premonition that the disaster she had foretold for Ma-ii was not far off, she could not ‘see’ as clearly as she would have liked the events that would lead up to the meeting with her son.
