Ed got up and went to the cupboard under the sink. He pulled the few remaining bottles of ‘Juice’ out and placed them in a paper bag. “Sorry Shane. I can’t leave these with you until ya get your sanity back. That quarter bottle out in the living room’ll see ya through the hangover, so make it last. I’ll check in on ya next week.” Shane wanted to get up and take the bag away from him but simply didn’t have the energy in him to even argue. Ed left the room and then the house.
