NATALIA'S POV
After the little revelation from Nathan and Felix, I could still feel my legs shaking terribly and my teeth clattering as I stared at the door, which had been shut tight without any care in the world.
I shook my head incessantly as my legs moved forward unwittingly. I made my way toward the clerk's office, not an ounce of the confidence I held earlier remained in my heart.
"What are you doing here?" The clerk looked at me with a face that made it obvious that I was a disturbance.
I swallowed and hugged my bag tightly, "I'm Nate from Emberclaw Pack. I just resumed today..."
"Shut up and go straight to the point!" With a smack on the table in front of him, he yelled at me. His lazy look turned into ruthless anger, and there was even contempt in his eyes.
The expression made me feel reluctant, but I held on. I braced myself, my nails digging into the bag held tightly on my chest, "I want to change rooms," I finally blurted out. "I was given a room with the Alphas of the Golden Pack. I don't think it's okay for me to stay there with them," I couldn't bear to report such high figures to the authorities as that wouldn't help me in any way.
The man stared at me for a while and sneered, "Change rooms, huh?" His tone was filled with mockery. "Why don't you check if you deserve any room in the first place?" His question struck like a sharp knife. "What does a lowly boy from a wretched Pack like you expect in a place like this? A palace as abode? Jokes on you, brat. Now, get out of here before I cripple the little strength you have in you!" He yelled, his eyes glowing menacingly.
I took a few steps back, sweat dripping from my face as I held back my tears, "What do I need to do? To change my room or obtain a good room for myself, what do I need to do?" With the remaining courage I had in me, I asked the man who seemed to hate me even more than I could have expected.
The man stood up gently, and my legs trembled, quickly dragging my body backward. "All you have to do is gain some strength. When you are strong enough to prove yourself, you will naturally obtain a room!"
It was a dog-eat-dog world. What was worse? I was learning it in the harshest way~
"Okay," I nodded and wiped the tears that had unknowingly fell from my eyes before turning around to leave.
My legs were weak, my throat was dry, and I felt incredibly weak. It was ridiculous the way I thought this place was a way out for me, not knowing it would be worse than home. At that moment, I missed Nate desperately. I missed him so much, and the fear was eating deep into me.
Rather than return to the room to meet those trashy Alphas, I'd rather sleep outside!

RAFAEL'S POV
I stared at the closed door with anger flashing through my eyes. I found it hard to believe that the pathetic and weak, pretty-faced boy who had just left was the dorm mate we'd been waiting for. It was hard to believe, and it only fueled my anger.
As the twin Alphas of the Golden Pack, we'd lived the lives of privilege. We were so blessed that our wolves manifested at the early age of 14, and it was very powerful, earning us the grand title of Golden Stars.
Our lives had always been filled with sweetness that we had no idea we'd be facing something this terrible later on, and it was extremely frustrating. At 18, we were yet to find our mate, and we wouldn't even be allowed to leave this damn academy to search for our mates until we were able to graduate!
As S rank Alphas, we were supposed to be the highest ranked in the whole academy, but that didn't guarantee our graduation as we had to form a team to complete some stupid test of cooperation, and that could only be with our dormmates!
But how could we do that when the prickly Nate refused to resume no matter what? And today, when we thought we could finally make do with something, the weak lad entered with his non-Alpha scent, looking like a pretty face with nothing more to complement. He ruined the hope we held on to, playing us like a fool. Like, the f**k!
We'd rather accept that he was a female than let him stay around as a male. At least, he could have accompanied me for a night if he was a female...
"I guess we need to meet the Principal again, Lucian. That pathetic piece of trash can't be the Nate we've been waiting for," I grunted, looking at Lucian, who had been pacing around in the room for a while.
He turned to look at me and his eyes turned colder, "That man!" He gritted his teeth. "He should have told us this. We wouldn't have waited so desperately if he told us about the punk that was to be our dormmate!" His voice was loud as he threw a punch to the wall but I quickly stopped him.
"We shouldn't destroy the wall anymore, Lucian," I warned and threw his hand back. "Let's just visit the Principal first, and we will know what's next," I advised and walked toward the door with my shirt in hand.
I placed it on and just when I opened the door, a figure flew past me and stood outside the door, "Be fast, Rafael!" Lucian called and left.
I shook my head and followed after him. With a knock, we were permitted into the Principal's office and the man seemed to be expecting us already. A sly smile lingered on his pale face as he gestured for us to sit.
"I think it's time for us to talk," He began.
