My heart wouldn't stop racing as I stared at the students that were walking around. I could tell my face was flushed red at the moment.
"Come in, Nate. You need to explain yourself!" Lucian's cold voice entered my ears and my body shook violently.
I covered my mouth and gasped. What was I supposed to do?
"What's he doing there? Has he been sent out again?"
The voices of the wolves around dragged me back to reality and my face shone redder.
I covered my face and cried inwardly. Turning around, I decided to enter the room and face whatever it was. It would be more terrible if Lucian was to come out to talk about it and everyone heard about it.
With Lucian, I could still plead and compromise. But, with everyone, my life would be at risk.
I opened the door and rushed in.
