4 It was five o"clock when someone discreetly knocked on Lucien"s office door. Without waiting for a response, Joseph, the oldest of the ushers, entered and handed a card to the commissioner. "Name: Corentin Bonzi. Reason for visit: Bernabé Case." "Where did you leave him waiting?" Lucien asked. "In the aquarium." They called it the aquarium, a glass-enclosed waiting room where visitors were always received. "Let him roam a bit more; then bring him to me," Lucien instructed.
